Welcome to Harlech Foodservice Limited, situated near Pwllheli in picturesque North Wales.

Started as a small family business in 1972, Harlech is still an independent family owned and managed company employing more than 70 full time local staff – mostly bilingual. Like many in the catering sector, our business is largely seasonal, but we are fortunate to have local authority contracts including schools. In order to compete effectively with National companies, in 1993 we joined Fairway Foodservice plc, the largest independent food purchasing consortium in the UK. More recently, we joined Ice Cream World and Nisa Today’s purchasing groups. This has given Harlech comprehensive national buying power in all categories of the foodservice sector, i.e. frozen, groceries, chilled, cleaning, disposables and ice cream, whilst still enabling us to retain the local accountability and personal service that is our hallmark and strength. This means you can support a local Welsh company and therefore the local economy, include some delicious Welsh products on your menu, and still enjoy extremely competitive prices

Come and meet us
Every year we hold a big Trade Show at Hafan Y Mor near Pwllheli, with more than 50 exhibitors, where you can see for yourself how much we value your business and go out of our way to help. This is your chance to see, taste & sample new products and revisit old favourites, to help you plan your menu for the start of the season. You can take advantage of the many Show Special Offers and discuss menu ideas directly with Manufacturers. The Show is usually held in February – check the exact dates with Telesales.
