Our new Depot

We’re proud of our new purpose built depot which we moved into in early 2010.

We had seriously outgrown our old site which offered no room for expansion. The new build brings with it huge operational efficiencies, cost savings and significant environmental benefits.

We now have greater bulk buying power due to the additional storage space in the warehouse, resulting in less container deliveries into us.

We have seen our energy consumption almost halve with the introduction of motion sensor LED lighting within the offices emitting very little heat, extra insulation and energy efficient fan motors have been fitted in the cold stores and we run a water recycling programme for our vehicle wash. We continue to recycle our cardboard, paper and plastic, as we did at our old site, and now have addition facilities to recycle glass and cans here at our new site.

All these changes mean we can pass on the savings we make to our customers and continue to offer the best service and quality produce at competitive prices.
