Warehouse & Butchery Operatives (Llanystumdwy depot)

Harlech Foodservice Ltd is seeking to employ warehouse operatives to work the night shift. There are various opportunities available ranging from 1-5 shifts per week, on a seasonal basis but always with an opportunity for the right candidate to make this a permanent position.

Candidates will be required to work within a warehouse or temperature controlled environment and will work on the loading shift. There are currently two shifts operating between the hours of 7.30pm-03.30am and 10.00pm-06.30am over 5 nights to include Sundays.

You will receive a competitive rate of pay and all applicants must be flexible in their approach.

Main dutiessuccessful applicants will be required to carry out all aspects of warehouse duties, such as picking and checking of stock, handling and replenishment of stock and ensuring stock is not damaged whilst maintaining high levels of housekeeping within their department / on site.

Knowledge and skills: As a requirement of this role candidates will carry out manual handling activities. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as on-site training will be provided.

Buyer/Stock Controller

Harlech Foodservice Ltd are looking to recruit a Buyer / Stock Controller within their Purchasing department at Llanystudmwy who will be tasked with buying and sourcing products as necessary from an approved supplier list to ensure consistent availability of stock, taking in to consideration seasonal demands and the impact your role has on other departments.

The department is ideally looking for someone who has worked in an office environment or has the skills and knowledge to carry out the role to full capacity, who can work on their own with little guidance, although full support from the Purchasing department will be given. This role would suit an individual that is ideally commercially minded.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone including negotiation skills and excellent time management and the ability to prioritise own workload. A thorough knowledge and understanding of IT packages (Microsoft) is also essential.

This is a full-time role working mainly Monday-Friday, however there may be the need to work occasional weekends during the year.
