Administration Assistant (Maternity cover)

Harlech Foodservice Ltd is looking to recruit an Administration Assistantwithin their Purchasing department at Llanystudmwy. Initiallyto cover maternityleave this will be a 12-month contract, however, there is the possibility of this role becoming permanent in the future. We are looking for someone who can provide and take responsibility for admin support across the department. The role will require daily communication and planning with the purchasing team to ensure deadlines are met in order of importance.

Candidates must have excellent communication and negotiation skills and excellent time management and the ability to prioritise own workload. A thorough knowledge and understanding of IT packages (Microsoft) is also essential.

This is a full-time role working mainly Monday-Friday 09.00am-5.00pm, however there may be the need to work occasional weekends during the year. The department is ideally looking for someone who has worked in an office environment or has the skills and knowledge to carry out the role to full capacity, who can work on their own with little guidance, although full support from the Purchasing department will be given.

Credit Controller

Harlech Foodservice is the area’s leading foodservice company and we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to carry out the following role as a Credit Controller.

The role will involve carrying out credit control duties and ensuring best accounts practice within the accounts department. Applicants for this role will ideally have had previous credit control experience as well as having previous experience / knowledge within a general accountancy function. The role will also include ad-hoc admin duties.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent attention to detail as well as having excellent communication and written skills. The ability to work as part of a team is also essential.

This is a full time, permanent position subject to the completion of a successful probationary period. The candidate will work an average of 37.5 hours per week to cover 5 days. There will also be a requirement to work a Saturday on a rota basis during the main season. Ideally, we are looking for a full-time credit controller, however we would also welcome applications from individuals who may be seeking a part time role within the credit control team.
